We had a fantastic experience at the Dolphin Centre in Bunbury, seeing loads of Dolphins larking about in the open ocean.
We got there as advised at just before 8am, and wondered down to the beach to await the arrival (hopefully) of some dolphins.
A couple (a mother and baby) did appear briefly, swimming really close to the shore and brushing against people's legs, more dolphins were visible throughout the morning, but none came too close to the shoreline.
Lucky that we'd booked a boat trip then!
This was really good, because we could go to where the dolphins were - we saw loads, pods of 20 plus, young and old, all just generally messing about. We got up really close and had them swimming alongside the boat for long periods of time.
A fantastic experience being around such enchanting animals.
Best Bits - The boat trip, fantastic getting up so close to the dolphins.
Worst Bits - It is up to the dolphins whether or not to turn up! - Whilst obviously this is a “good thing” - I'd book a boat trip to mitigate the chances of any disappointment.
