This was one of our favourite little excursions whilst on our "Rekkie" visit and certainly one of the things that the kids remember most fondly.
The centre had only recently opened and was very well laid out and presented, it has obviously been well thought out. There is a large indoor area as well as some outdoor enclosures for some of the bigger lizards.
It wasn't busy when we visited, so we were lucky in that one of the owners was happy to get some snakes out for us to see and for the children to hold. She was very friendly and obviously knowledgeable on her "pet" subject.
There was a good variety of reptiles on display, snakes, lizards, frogs, even a juvenile croc!
Well worth spending a hour or two there - either when it gets too hot outside or is raining. We'll go again, definitely.
Best Bits - Getting upclose with the snakes.
Worst Bits - None.

Our second visit to the Naturalist Reptile Park and whilst the place is a bit older, I am happy to report that nothing else much seemed to have changed.
It being winter the reptiles that reside outdoors where a little more elusive, but the stars of the show - the WA snakes and Crikey the croc where still on form.
Was busier than last time we came, but the lady who runs the place once again got a snake out - a young python, 3 meters plus already...
Will go back again.
Best Bits - The owners again went the extra mile to thrill the kids.
Worst Bits - Outdoors not as good in the winter - though the orange trees are bountiful at this time of year!
