Made a reservation here for 8.00 Friday night, but with it being slightly out of season there was no need.
The restaurant itself is situated a couple of minutes drive outside of Dunsborough, on Caves Road, guess the setting is best described as "bush", but given that we were there after dark the setting wasn't overly relevant.
The decor of the restaurant was OK - nothing lavish, there was a feature wood burner and leather couches.
Our waitress was obviously being trained as her colleague was watching her like a hawk! She did well, minor issue with wrong beer being served, but not a problem.
The food was very good. Nice soup and very nice bread and garlic butter to start. I had the chicken and mushroom with chips - very nice and the better half had one of the specials - went down well.
Would recommend.
Best Bits - etting - Food excellent, owner (Franco) on hand to ensure standards are upheld. Fully licensed - large variety of wines and beers.
Worst Bits - Location meant the usual no drinking and driving issues...
