One of the areas' newer attractions, Yallingup Maze opened this year.
It is located off Caves Road and is set in a large lawned area overlooking a lake. There is a picnic area (nice tables!) and a small climbing frame.
The maze itself is pretty big. If you don't get lost you and you don't cheat, then to complete the "puzzle" you will walk just under 2km! Clearly, you will get lost!
Amazingly we completed the maze pretty quickly, in about 45minutes. The aim is to get to the four towers (one in each corner) in order, without using the footbridge. The maze can be changed (there are 16 configurations.)
You can stay as long as you like, so if we had wanted to do it again, we could have done - but the sea was calling!
One thing I was worried about (hoping for) before going there was the chance of losing the kids - this wasn't an issue as they could crawl underneath the panels if they needed to...
The cafe seems quite nice, we took a picnic, but did have a look at the menu. Pie was $7.50 or $15 depending on how much you wanted!
Best Bits - Maze took about the right sort of time to complete.
Worst Bits - I'd be inclined to add more toys (swings, etc.) to the playground.
