A great tourist park right on the beach.
We picked Jurien Bay as it wasn't too far from Perth - about 3 hours, although that journey time will reduce soon as a new road is being built. To be honest, we weren't expecting too much, but we were very pleasantly surprised.
Jurien Bay is a lovely little town, with a small supermarket and a few take-away's and shops - enough to get what you need. It is set behind a peaceful sandy bay with views out over little islands - some of which are home to a resident population of friendly sea lions. The main attraction of the place is to relax, get away from it all and perhaps do some fishing off one of the two jetties.
The park itself was also a nice surprise - the grassy areas was grassy (we camped), the communal areas were clean and plentiful and the kids had WA's largest jumping pillow to keep them amused.
There are probably about a dozen new chalets that have just been built - these looked very good, if you are not into camping.
Best Bits - Beachfront location.
Worst Bits - Some of the tent pitches were on the small side. y
